Third-grader removed from Fremont school amid claims he sexually harassed a girl

FREMONT — A third-grade Hirsch Elementary student accused of sexually harassing a female classmate has been removed from his school, a Fremont district official said Tuesday.

Fremont Unified School District Superintendent James Morris announced the decision about an hour after the 8-year-old girl’s mother handed out 200 fliers outside the Irvington district campus, calling for the boy’s removal from the school. Full Article

Make him a felon and put him on the public registry because that will make the community safer… How much farther must we go down this spiral?

My God!!!! All of the adults involved in this are socially retarded. They can’t even handle a couple of 8 year old children.

Boy, I wish I was a comedian, ’cause this could be some really great material to work off of.

Did she have a permit to hand out fliers ? I wouldn’t want my family members around someone that hands out fliers without a permit.

OK, let me get this straight…The girl’s mother pulled her daughter out of the school and said she won’t send her daughter back to the school. AND even with her daughter out of the school, she still fought to get the boy removed from the school? Are you kidding me??? I sure hope the boy’s parents fight back and fight back hard!

My 12 year-old was arrested in elementary school in CA 16 years ago for something very similar. Chained to a desk in the police station for hours. Charged with a felony. Luckily, the attorney kept him off of the registry. Still, we’ve all come to distrust “law enforcement” over this!

We live in a society that supports the victim industrial complex. The media feeds it, our politicians feeds it and our churches feed it. Nothing sales like victimhood. TRUTH

1. Where did the boy learn to do what he did to the girl? Another story on this stated that the boy-who is 7-touched the girls’ private parts and acted as though he was humping her from behind. I don’t know of any boys around that age who naturally think about simulating sex or even touching a girl to the extent this boy supposedly did.

Sure kids might think about playing doctor and then the whole “I will some you mine if you show me yours” line unfolds and there might be touching out of curiosity, but this case goes farther than that. So the the first question anyone needs to ask is the question I started with. Clearly something else is going on in this boys life and it’s probably not very age appropriate. Be it an R rated film, a TVMA television show, an erotic or pornographic images or video, or something more troubling remains to be uncovered.

2. The girl is 8 and the boy is 7. Does anyone think either of these two have the slightest idea of what sexual assault or related words mean? If someone does think one or both these kids have sexual terminology in their vocabulary, what’s the point at those ages? More importantly can prepubescent children grasp the complex dynamics of human sexuality and whether or not they can, what should society expect a young person do do with such knowledge?

3. What happened to the 8 year old girl is far from being a positive experience, but sexual assault? The boy is 7, how sexually dangerous can he be? What if the roles and ages were reversed? Would the story still be as media grabbing as it is now?

4. Why didn’t the mother of the girl reach out to the parents of the boy after the first time? Another boy was bullying me in first grade and all it took to deal with the situation was me pointing the boy out to my dad. Using a tiny sliver of my imagination, I can say if the problem continued it would have been very easy for my dad to figure out who this kids parents were or at least how to get in contact with one or both of them.

5. This illustrates our hysteria over sex in the United States and until we can rationally discuss such topics people will continue making crazy claims like “my eight year old daughter is the victim of sexual assault by a seven year old boy”. As bad as that might sound, making a public declaration about it is probably doing more harm to both kids and that’s really disheartening. The real monster here is not the boy, but the society which is so skittish about sexual development, exploration, and expression that turns carp like this into an issue by fostering room for alleged diviance instead of confronting the real problems.

6. Want to stop this or anything else from happening? Research the who, what, where, when, how, and why. If raw unbiased factual data is difficult to get or illegal to obtain then instead of researching the actual issue research all the above mentioned aspects regarding the lack of accessible or existent data. Get people talking about the need for more information and use it as a factual foundation for framing the truth of the issue in order to properly address researching the issue itself.
